The Adventist Church in the Southwestern Philippine Union Conference (SwPUC), through its Communication Department, officially launched the OneVoice27 initiative during a gathering held at the Central Mindanao Mission (CMM) in Valencia City on March 5–6, 2026. The initiative seeks to strengthen mission strategies by integrating digital evangelism with the church’s ongoing public outreach and evangelistic efforts. Through OneVoice27, church leaders, communicators, and members aim to present a unified, Christ-centered message across various platforms and ministries as part of the worldwide movement leading to 2027.

The one-and-a-half-day training gathered more than 100 selected district pastors, digital influencers, and local church representatives for strategic discussions on identifying mission opportunities and expanding evangelistic reach. Sessions highlighted practical approaches for initiating mission work more effectively, particularly through community engagement and digital platforms.

To enrich the learning experience, the organizers invited resource speakers actively involved in online ministry, along with an English educator who shared practical insights on effective communication and message delivery.

As part of the church’s forward-looking strategy, participants expressed their commitment to implementing the plans one year ahead of the initiative's culmination in September 2027. This plan includes a phased assessment of the implementation process to identify areas for improvement and enhancement.

The initiative was made possible through the collaborative efforts of communication leaders, media practitioners, educators, and ministry volunteers who contributed their time and expertise throughout the training. Support from the Hope Channel team under the leadership of Charm Senining, station manager for Hope Channel South Philippines, together with representatives from the Northern and Central Mindanao communication ministries, the SwPUC Communication Department, and Mountain View College (MVC), helped strengthen the event’s emphasis on effective digital mission engagement and communication. Their shared commitment and teamwork played a significant role in the success of the program.

Special appreciation was extended to Pastor Randy Blanco for facilitating and coordinating the inaugural training event, helping create an atmosphere of collaboration, learning, and mission-focused engagement.

The SwPUC Communication Department also shared its commitment to continue conducting similar training programs and fellowship gatherings across missions and conferences within the territory in the coming months, with the goal of equipping more members and leaders for digital and community-based mission initiatives.
