The Adventist University of the Philippines Nutrition and Dietetics (ND) Department, together with the Nutrition and Dietetics Student Council, successfully celebrated Nutrition Week 2026 from July 13 to 18 at the College of Health Lawn and the Nutrition and Dietetics Rooms. Held in observance of the 52nd Nutrition Month under the theme, “Nutrisyon at Kalikasan Ating Pangalagaan!”, the week-long celebration promoted physical wellness, nutrition education, and environmental responsibility through a variety of engaging activities.

The celebration officially opened on Monday, July 13, with an opening program that set the educational and spiritual tone for the week. Throughout the celebration, food booths, interactive games, and professional nutritional assessments were made available at the College of Health Lawn, giving students, faculty, and staff practical opportunities to learn about healthy living and monitor their nutritional status.

On Friday, July 17, participants took part in a planting activity, a morning Zumba session, and a free breakfast program that encouraged physical activity, healthy eating habits, and environmental stewardship.

The week concluded on Saturday, July 18, with a series of spiritual and community-centered programs, including a special Sabbath School program, a community lunch fellowship, an afternoon Adventist Youth program, and a closing sundown worship service. These activities emphasized the University's commitment to holistic education by integrating physical, spiritual, and social well-being.

Through the successful celebration of Nutrition Week 2026, the University community demonstrated its commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles, environmental care, and Christ-centered service. The event reflected the institution's mission of cultivating academic excellence, Christlike character, and exemplary service, preparing individuals for a life of holistic usefulness in this world and the world to come.
