On September 12, the Hong Kong and Macau District Council held a joint meeting at San Yuk Secondary School in Tai Po, Hong Kong, to officially launch OneVoice27 in both regions. The meeting featured special guest speaker Hensley Moorooven, General Conference undersecretary, who promoted the project, injecting new momentum and vision into the region's mission work.
A "Speaking Together" poster greeted guests at the entrance to the meeting, encouraging all attendees to sign it and proclaim their commitment to participate in missionary work.
Organizers also prepared a personalized OneVoice27 lamp and seed called "For Him," symbolizing renewal and the hope that the light of the truth and the seed of life will be passed from one person to another.
During the morning worship service, Mo Luwen delivered the sermon. Drawing on Romans 1-10, he reminded attendees that "Some people need to know the Lord Jesus."

Mo also discussed the three parables found in Luke 14. He emphasized that people's sense of being lost takes many forms: some are lost and cannot find their Master, some are lost within the Church but are unaware, and others return home after being lost.
Regardless of each person's situation, "someone needs to know the Lord Jesus," he said, and everyone needs the Lord's salvation.
Organizers said this is the purpose of OneVoice27—to bring Jesus to everyone and bring them home.
To help attendees turn their inspiration into action, various workshops were available in the afternoon. Attendees said the workshops equipped them with tools for ministry, encouragement, and a renewed sense of mission.
