On December 19, 2025, the Northern Asia-Pacific Division (NSD), the regional headquarters of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in South Korea, held a year-end neighbor-sharing event to extend warm greetings to residents living near its office building. Through this event, the Division expressed gratitude to neighbors who had shared the year alongside them.

For the event, the NSD prepared 90 gift boxes each of soy milk and roasted seaweed. The staff also included a letter in every gift set.

In the letter, the Division shared its appreciation, writing, “As the year comes to a close, we would like to offer a small token of gratitude to our neighbors who have walked with us throughout the year. We prepared these gift sets with our thanks and encouragement, and we hope this sharing becomes a moment to experience the season’s warmth. We also wish you peace and good health in the coming new year.”

Approximately 20 staff members participated in the event. They visited nearby homes around the Division office and placed the gift sets at residents’ doorsteps.

Although the activity lasted only a short time, staff members reflected that delivering the gifts allowed them to rediscover the true meaning of the year-end season.

A representative of the NSD said, “We did not aim to host a large or elaborate event. Instead, we wanted to express our gratitude as members of a community living alongside our neighbors. We hope this small gift brings comfort and encouragement and creates an opportunity to share the warmth of the year-end season.”

The representative added, “We will continue to carry out small but meaningful acts of sharing rooted in care and love for our local community. We hope these efforts come together to create a positive impact and help cultivate a warm and caring community culture.”
