Newly Elected Leaders Poised to Guide SSD Mission for 2025–2030

The Southern Asia-Pacific Division (SSD) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church unveiled its new roster of administrators and department directors for the 2025–2030 quinquennium, following the voted action which established the selection procedure through a broad-based nominating committee.
The newly elected SSD President chaired the nominating committee, joined by the Executive Secretary, Treasurer, 16 SSD delegates from the General Conference Nominating Committee, and 15 representatives selected from various unions and institutional caucuses across the division.
These appointments reflect a renewed commitment to mission, leadership development, and innovation in ministry, aligned with the division-wide thrust of evangelism, member empowerment, and strategic mission refocus.
Below is the list of newly elected leaders of the division for 2026-2030
Division Administrators
• Arnel Gabin will serve as Vice President for Nurture, Discipleship, Reclamation, and Integrated Evangelistic Lifestyle (NDR-IEL).
• Stephen Salainti was elected Vice President for Leadership.
• Felixian Felicitas was named Field Secretary, a role that supports identity empowerment and faith building initiatives for the church.
Secretariat Team
• Mamerto Guingguing II continues as Associate Secretary with oversight of Human Resources.
• Joni Roger De Oliveira was appointed Associate Secretary and Director of Adventist Mission, supporting mission strategies in unreached areas.
• Necy Tabelisma remains in service for the role of Assistant Secretary.
Treasury Team
Angelina Pagarigan was appointed Under-treasurer, a key financial role supporting the stewardship and operational sustainability of the division.
• Joseph Allan Deblois, Sweetie Ritchil, and Evin Villaruben will serve as Associate Treasurers, bringing a wealth of experience to the financial leadership team.
• Roni Manurong joins as Assistant Treasurer.

The SSD Executive Committee affirmed the appointment of the following directors and associates who will lead specialized ministries across the territory:

• Segundino Asoy, Sabbath School and Personal Ministries

The SSD administration affirmed that this diverse group of leaders represents both seasoned and emerging voices in the Adventist Church across Southern Asia-Pacific. Their collective vision centers on unity in mission, innovation in ministry, and intentional discipleship—especially within the 10/40 Window, where the gospel still faces significant cultural and spiritual barriers.
With a deep commitment to the Great Commission and the Adventist Church’s threefold message, this new team is poised to lead more than 1.6 million members across 11 countries in fulfilling the mission to SEEK, SAVE, DISCIPLE.
