Manila Adventist College Law School celebrates new lawyers as graduates pass 2025 bar exams
Graduates mark a milestone for the institution as it continues its mission of values-based legal education.

The Manila Adventist College (MAC) School of Law & Jurisprudence, led by Dean Tranquil Gervacio S. Salvador III and SLJ Secretary Atty. Bon Ardette Mae S. Gomez proudly celebrates its remarkable performance in the September 2025 Philippine Bar Examinations, reaffirming the institution’s mission to prepare principled, competent, and service-driven legal professionals.
The 2025 Bar Examinations were conducted on September 7, 10, and 14, 2025, under the chairmanship of Supreme Court Associate Justice Amy C. Lazaro-Javier. A total of 13,193 candidates registered, with 11,425 completing the exams. Out of these, 5,594 passed, yielding a national passing rate of 48.98%. The exams were administered in 14 official local testing centers nationwide, including Manila Adventist College, which has proudly served as a Luzon testing center since the 2020–2021 Bar Examinations, when the Supreme Court first designated multiple sites to accommodate the consolidated testing period.
Based on the official results released by the Supreme Court, MAC achieved an overall passing rate of 58.82%, surpassing the national average. Among first-time takers, the college recorded a 53.85% passing rate, underscoring the effectiveness of its academic training and faith-centered approach to legal education.
MAC proudly welcomed its third batch of new lawyers, ten graduates who successfully passed the Bar: Zendie S. Abraham, Danica Ann R. Astorga, Mary Joy Grace D. Barlao-Canonizado, Marie Paz D. Deza, Jed F. Fajarit, Paul Ernani S. Nipal, Dexter Aldwin M. Perral, Krisha Gem C. Salagan, Rio Alyssa G. Sioson, and Roanne Virly B. Pascua-Tappa. Out of these ten passers, seven are Adventists, a testament to the institution’s enduring mission of nurturing professionals who embody both competence and Christ-centered values in their practice of law.
This year’s MAC Centralized Bar Operations (BAROPs) rallied behind the theme “By Faith We Conquer,” drawing inspiration from the emblematic figure Gideon—a symbol of courage, faith, and triumph against overwhelming odds. United under this banner, the student body proudly called themselves GIDEONS, embodying resilience and solidarity throughout the demanding journey of preparation and examination.
MAC’s strong performance further cements the place of Adventist institutions in the country’s evolving legal education landscape. Just as Adventist schools have long been celebrated for excellence in healthcare and teaching, MAC now shines as a beacon in the legal arena—producing graduates ready to serve with both competence and conscience.
In marking this milestone, the college lifted its rallying cry: “Lead On MAC.” More than a slogan, it is a declaration of purpose—honoring God through education, service, and the pursuit of justice, while inspiring the MAC community to press forward in excellence.

Youth Directors’ Evangelism in Southwestern Philippines Leads to 40 Baptisms in Remote Island
