On July 6, 2025, during the 62nd General Conference (GC) Session in St. Louis, Missouri, delegates affirmed the treasury leadership team for the Seventh-day Adventist Church for the 2025–2030 quinquennium.
J. Raymond Wahlen II was elected to serve as undertreasurer of the General Conference. Supporting him are six associate treasurers, each bringing financial expertise and a deep commitment to the church’s mission:
Sabrina C. DeSouza
Josue Pierre
Timothy H. Aka
German A. Lust
Richard T. Stephenson
Gideon M. Mutero
These individuals will work closely with the General Conference Treasury team to manage resources, support division treasuries, ensure accountability, and strengthen financial systems that enable mission advancement around the world.
Treasury leaders play a key role in the stewardship of the church’s global financial operations and ensuring that funds are used with integrity to support evangelism, education, health care, media, and humanitarian outreach across more than 200 countries.
The election is part of a broader nomination process taking place at the 62nd GC Session—a global event held every five years that brings together delegates to pray, worship, and make key decisions shaping the future of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
