In March 2025, the Northern Asia-Pacific Division (NSD) hosted the Spirit of Prophecy Symposium in both Korea and Mongolia, marking a significant milestone in the region's spiritual journey.
A Historic First in Mongolia
The symposium held in Mongolia was particularly noteworthy as it was the first-ever Spirit of Prophecy Symposium in the country. During this event, five newly translated books by Ellen G. White were dedicated, highlighting the ongoing commitment to making her writings accessible to the local community.
Deepening Understanding of Prophetic Gifts
The theme of the symposium, "Understanding and Living the Gift," emphasized the importance of not only acknowledging the prophetic gift but also living in harmony with its teachings. Esteemed speakers, including Dr. Melvin Burt, Dr. G. T. Ng, and Darryl Thompson, shared insights on how Ellen G. White's writings continue to guide and inspire believers today.
Strengthening Faith and Commitment
Jonas Arrais, Spirit of Prophecy Coordinator for the NSD, said, “I am truly grateful for the opportunity to witness such a meaningful gathering. The event has undoubtedly strengthened our commitment to biblical truth and inspired us to live more faithfully according to God’s will, as revealed through His Word and the inspired writings of Ellen G. White.”
