The Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP) College of Medicine has once again proven its dedication to academic excellence and faith-based medical education with strong performances in the most recent Physician Licensure Examinations (PLE).
In the March–April 2025 PLE, AUP achieved a remarkable 70.73% passing rate among first-time takers and an overall institutional passing rate of 70.18%, significantly surpassing the national average of 49.67%. This achievement not only highlights the university's academic rigor but also its unwavering commitment to preparing competent and compassionate physician missionaries.
These results follow another strong showing in the October 2024 PLE, where the College of Medicine recorded a 66.67% passing rate for first-time takers and an impressive 63.64% overall passing rate, exceeding the national passing rate of 58.26%.
These consecutive successes demonstrate the effectiveness of AUP’s holistic medical education—rooted in its Adventist values—designed to equip future physicians not just with knowledge and clinical skills, but also with a strong sense of service and mission.
The consistent performance of AUP College of Medicine in national board exams underscores its growing reputation as a leading institution for those seeking medical education grounded in Christian principles and global service.
