On March 21, 2026, the global Seventh-day Adventist Church celebrated Global Youth Day (GYD) 2026 under the theme “Communion in Action,” inviting young people to express God’s love through faith and practical service. Inspired by Acts 4:31, when early believers prayed together, experienced the power of the Holy Spirit, and boldly proclaimed the gospel of Jesus, the initiative encouraged youth to unite in fellowship and create positive change in their communities.
Across the Northern Asia-Pacific Division (NSD), young people responded by engaging in various acts of kindness, community outreach, and mission-focused initiatives.
In the Pakistan Union Section, Pathfinders, Master Guides, and Adventist youth began the day with a special worship service before reaching out to nearby communities. They distributed food packages and health magazines to families in need, strengthening relationships and reaffirming their commitment to service.

In Nepal, Global Youth Day activities were held alongside youth leadership training, bringing together representatives from multiple churches. Participants took part in environmental clean-up efforts and Bible tract distribution, fostering unity and encouraging youth to remain mission-ready in all circumstances.
In Japan, youth ministries organized creative programs to reconnect young people with church life. Praise concerts and participation in short-term missionary training strengthened spiritual commitment and nurtured a lasting missionary spirit, participants said.

In Korea, Adventist youth carried out diverse outreach initiatives, including delivering coal briquettes to vulnerable households, visiting nursing homes, assisting with wildfire recovery, offering foot-massage programs for senior citizens, distributing side dishes, and undertaking home repair projects. They also supported overseas mission teams and large-scale events such as camporees, demonstrating their dedication to both local service and global mission.
Adventist leaders believe that Global Youth Day affirms that young people are not only the future of the church but active partners in mission today.
