The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results of the May 2025 Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination on Tuesday, May 14, confirming that 6,935 out of 10,770 examinees passed, reflecting a 64.39% national passing rate for this year’s licensure examination. Among those who excelled were students and institutions from Seventh-day Adventist colleges and universities in the Philippines, continuing a legacy of academic excellence and mission-driven education.

Three Adventist institutions ranked among the top 10 performing nursing schools in the country in the category of schools with 50 to 99 examinees. Mountain View College (MVC) in Valencia, Bukidnon, secured Rank 2 with an impressive 98.81% passing rate. The Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP) in Silang, Cavite, followed at Rank 5 with 98.25%, while Central Philippine Adventist College (CPAC) in Murcia, Negros Occidental, placed Rank 7 with a 96.36% passing rate.

In addition to institutional achievements, individual graduates from Adventist schools emerged among the topnotchers. Julia Leri Mari Parulan-Sausa of AUP ranked 7th with a rating of 88.6. From MVC, Princess Rania Asilo secured Rank 9 with 88.2, followed closely by Warren Cabidog Dolor, also from MVC, at Rank 10 with 88.0.

Dr. Remwil Tornalejo, president of Mountain View College, expressed his joy and gratitude in a message posted on the college’s official Facebook page. “On behalf of Mountain View College, I extend my warmest congratulations to our fellow Adventist educational institutions for their outstanding performance in the May 2025 Philippine Nursing Licensure Examination,” he said.

“To all Adventist graduates who passed the recent Nursing Licensure Examination—we are proud of your achievement and thank God for the lives you will touch through your profession. Your success affirms the value of Adventist wholistic education, which shapes competent professionals with a heart to serve,” he said.

The May 2025 licensure exam was conducted nationwide on May 5 and 6. Thousands of aspiring nurses took part in the examination, with results released just over a week later.

As the Adventist Church continues to champion education and healthcare ministries, the success of its nursing graduates serves as a powerful testament to the impact of faith-based learning and the enduring call to serve with integrity, skill, and compassion.
